WHO IS PLXNETGEO?
Geondre ‘Geo’ Baldwin is a videographer, filmmaker, and Emmy-winning journalist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Raised in Harlem, New York, Geo was drawn to spending as much time as possible creating. Over the course of a decade, Geo has spent most of his time past his studies learning multiple crafts and maintaining a steadfast, honest, and true vision.
Growing up, Geo always had an inclined creative mind. Playing with action figures turned to creating stop motion at just the age of 7. By 11, he had his first camera that he could call his own. He’d use his vision through the lens on personal projects, but never thought a job would be his true capacity.
In his later teens, his music making would lead him to pick up a camera again to capture his own music videos. Little did he know, this would start a new chapter of his life he never expected. Once told by friends that he should make content at his college, he would go out and start filming and editing events. This turned into a three year run with some of the best creative organizations his college had to offer in The Maroon Tiger and the Campus Content Creators. Over a three year span, he would go on to create some of the best work that had ever been seen on campus. From exciting probate visuals to tear-jerking New Student Orientation videos, his work began to impact not only the student body, but beyond. By his third full year creating content at the school, he was selected as the Editor—in-Chief of the student newspaper as well as the yearbook committee, and would also serve as president of the Campus Content Creators, where his legacy would only be cemented as time passed.
Now a graduating senior at Morehouse College, he plans to pursue a Master’s degree in journalism at New York University in the Fall of 2026.
